About Me

I'm a 30-something wife and mother. I work four days a week as an accountant and aspire to be a domestic goddess the rest of the time. A.R. (that's my husband!) and I met in 2006, wed in 2008, and had our first child- our beautiful daughter (I call her M) in 2010 and our second child- our handsome son (I call him E) in 2012. We live in the home that we built together (or rather the builders we hired built for us) in Connecticut with our Cocker Spaniel, Tomas.

In my spare time I like to cook, bake, sew, read, wine taste, travel, and these days with two little ones in the house...sleep. I dabble in photography (family) with my first DSLR camera (Canon Rebel T2i). I enjoy hosting dinner parties with my friends and spending time with our families- A.R. has a huge one!

This blog is about my adventures in life and is a mix of everything from recipes, to house decor and projects, to baby stuff, to my unofficial opinions on novels/movies/or anything else I can think of under the sun hence the name "Hodgepodge". I post about my family, my experiences, and that thing called life. Enjoy the read and don't forget that I love comments!
